Youth Attendance Application

We have ten free conference registrations available for youth (aged 16-24) to attend the National Sexual Violence Conference on the 31 August and 1 September 2026. The conference is in Wellington and you will need to look after your own travel and accommodation needs.

We encourage any young person with an interest in the sexual violence sector to apply. You do not need to belong to an organisation or group, or have any experience or formal education to qualify, but should have a genuine interest in learning about and contributing to conversations around sexual violence.

Please fill out the form below and we will get back to you by 24 July.

Please note: All applications will be considered and we will endeavour to provide opportunities to a broad range of young people. This means we will be limited to a maximum of two successful applications per organisation or group.

Youth Attendance Application

About you

Your interest

As TOAH-NNEST journeys toward increasing youth accessibility at our conferences, we would like to better understand what draws young people to these spaces, so we can ensure that the aspirations of those attending align with the opportunities to learn and connect in this space.

Which of the topics below are you interested in?

Wellbeing

This conference will include discussions about sexual violence and related topics, which can be upsetting or triggering for some people. TOAH-NNEST endeavours to create a safe and supportive environment for all attendees and encourages attendees to consider their own needs and supports before arriving. Many of our attendees come from organisations who can provide support to them; however we are conscious that many young people do not have the same access to support. These questions will help us to better understand what would best support young people attending this conference.

Will you be attending the conference with people you already know?
